There was a special energy and excitement in the air as old and new friends renewed acquaintances and shared the evening’s activities. Thanks to chairperson Teresa Quick and her committee for the outstanding job they did! 

The generous contributions of the Beall Family Foundation were acknowledged and Cher and Ken Beall were given the Founders Award for all their support to Thomas House.  Presenting Sponsors were the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet and Pattie Cumming whose husband, Bob, accepted in her memory. Platinum Sponsors included Anne and John Fraher, Lorraine Stein and Teresa and Robert Quick.  This year we also had four Gold Sponsors, Shirley and Larry Brown, Barbara and Tom Orbe, Beth and Ray San Vicente and Mary and Berie Selz.  “Thanks to each and every one of them for their generous support.”

Tom Orbe did a wonderful job as Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer.  Thanks to Barbara and Tom Orbe for arranging to have this event at the very lovely and prestigious Santa Ana Country Club.

Debbie Maciel, a graduate of Thomas House Temporary Shelter, spoke eloquently about her time at the shelter.  She acknowledged each staff person who reached out to her and her children.   We wish Debbie and her husband continued success.

Thanks to all who attended and to all who couldn’t attend, but generously contributed to Autumn Reflections.  Over $53,000 was raised to continue to provide homeless families with a warm, safe home and a new start in life!
